Biography

Born in 1943 in Saint Raphaël, Michel was introduced to the Italian art by a Florentine old man, master of the Ornemaniste sculpture. At seventeen years old, on the instigation of his master Jean COCTEAU, he enters at the Beaux-Arts of PARIS, then at the BOULE school to perfect his knowledge of the wood there..
Very soon attracted by the Roman Art and representational sculpture, he worked the wood until 1970.

The discovery of marble leads him towards contemporary sculpture.
First exhibitions in the 60s in galleries and artistic manifestations through all Europe;
Realization of some monuments and monumental sculptures for the municipalities.
At present, he is a professor at the Maison des Arts (House of the Arts) in La Croix Valmer (Riviera - FRANCE).
